Delta del Po

An immersive experience between water and sky to discover the Cervia Salt Pan. A short trip by electric boat takes us to the heart of the salt pan, where a guided walk brings us closer to the fauna and flora.

A fascinating journey through nature, silence and unique landscapes. Let yourself be enchanted by the magic of the Cervia Salt Pan, one of the most evocative corners of the Po Delta Park.

The excursion starts from the Visitor Centre, where we board a small electric boat (with wooden benches and a capacity of about 35 people). The journey, lasting about 15 minutes, takes us along a quiet canal, surrounded by lush vegetation, until we reach the wooden jetty of the 'via dei nidi', the starting point for the continuation of our walking adventure.

Once off the boat and arrived at the jetty, in the company of our guide, we will have the opportunity to observe and identify the different species of birds that inhabit the Salina. We will be able to hide behind special sighting posts, made of reeds, so as not to disturb the animals and admire them in their natural environment.

From the jetty, the guided walking tour begins: a route through banks, ponds and suspended landscapes, accompanied by experienced and passionate guides. Along the way, we will discover the history of the Salina, the halophilous plants and the many species of birds that inhabit this protected area.

With a bit of luck, we will also be able to admire the flamingos, often present but free in their movements.

The excursion concludes with a return to the visitor centre, retracing the same canal by boat (another 15 minutes or so). A proposal suitable for those who love authentic nature and slow rhythms!

FLAGOTES:
Flamingos are free-roaming animals and, therefore, their presence is not guaranteed. Sometimes they are close by and easily observed, other times they are found further away. However, the Salina is home to a wide variety of bird species, always offering new emotions and discoveries during the excursion.
